JR. ANGLER ENRICHMENT WORKSHOP
We'd love to bring BROFAM Fishing! enrichment workshops to you, which is a fun unique addition to summer camps, birthday parties, and school year science curriculum.
BROFAM Fishing! is a junior angler mentorship program that encourages and educates youth about outdoor activities like fishing, and nature conservation. As an affiliate of 501c3 nonprofit organization, True Legends Foundation, we host catch & release fishing experiences, hands-on enrichment workshops, discovery activities, derbies and tournaments in a fun family friendly setting.

Our fun enrichment activities are designed to encourage hands-on teaching for both youth and adult audiences and minimize the lecture approach. Many activities touch upon the state education standards, Texas Essential Knowledge Skills (TEKS) and our education literature is provided by Texas Parks & Wildlife. Anglers leave our workshops with basic fishing guides, laminated fish ID cards, stickers, angler activity book, and other take-homes to continue learning. Because of the National Aquatic Resources Education Association, our program is aligned with best practices and research to modify activities suited to the participant’s age and knowledge, or the class size.
